I do agree that the coloring may be a bit jarring to some, with this kind of line style, but it is something I'm still working on, as coloring is my least comfortable area right now.I have done some work recently with a more refined line, so I can work both ways.

My main goal with my lines is to find the right 'feeling' and 'essence' of the overall character/image, as opposed to the perfect line. There is an certain energy to sketchier lines which I love, that I find can be lost with too much refinement. Yeah the 'sketchy' lines is actually my natural style.

That way the line work will be more crisp, which will cause it to play nicey nice with your coloring and ultimately make these images more of a professional quality.

Let me know if you'd like some idea on how to configure a brush that way if your interested. You would also as an alternative go into photo shop and configure your paint tool to act very much like an inking brush and then ink the images digitally. I would suggest that you print your pencil images out from your computer and then ink the images with some microns, sharpies, etc. I'm not sure if this is your style but I can tell you that your very sketchy line work competes with attention against your color instead of being the foundation from which your color is standing upon (the way It probably should be). Looking at your images they look very 'sketchy' as though you've went over the same lines several times but didn't pick necessarily which lines you liked the best. I would say that the only issue here is the line work. I also like the color that provides the atmosphere in these panels. I like the story progression in this page.
